Concepts of Leadership
The term leadership can be interpreted in various ways, depending on the point of view and definition of the experts who discuss it. In answering with the approval of organizational goals, Stephen P. Robbins (1991) said that leadership is a proces influences group goals.
While Stoner, Freeman, and Gilbert (1995), interpreting leadership is the process of directing and influencing tasks related to group member activities. According to Griffin, leadership is a process of meeting and influencing members in terms of various activities that must be done.
We can also understand the concept of leadership easily as someone who supports and directs people effectively and efficiently in order to achieve goals.
In leadership, a leader needs the ability to give, inspire and direct actions or groups to achieve the expected goals. Related, the nature of leadership always participates in three things, namely leadership, participation and certain participation.
From the nature of this leadership, it can be concluded that there are four aspects of leadership, namely:
• Attendance
• There is a power distribution between leaders and followers
• There is strength for ifluence
• Have leadership values
Transactional leadership, is a type of leadership where someone leads tend to give direction to subordinates, also provides imbalance and punishment to subordinates.
Transformational leadership, is a leadership model for leaders who tend to motivate subordinates to take better actions and focus on helping transformation between individuals and organizations.

• Leadership that needs other people both subordinates and followers,
• Leadership that supports the distribution of power between balanced leaders and group members, because members of the group agree helplessly,

Traits Theory of Leadership
Traits Theory of Leadership views that leaders have certain traits or characteristics that cause them to be able to lead their followers. On this basis, Griffin divides leadership concepts into two forms, namely (1) Leadership as a process, and (2) Leadership as an attribute.
The concept of leadership as a process means the leadership of opposition to what is done by leaders. This means the process by which leaders use their influence to clarify organizational goals for employees, subordinates, or those they lead, motivate them to achieve these goals, and help create a productive culture within the organization.
The concept of leadership as an attribute, the meaning of leadership is a collection of characteristics that must be possessed by a leader. Therefore, leaders can ask for help needed for others without using force, so that the people they lead receive the people who deserve to get them.
